A recent quick family trip through Portland took us to the Voodoo location on Davis. Service was quick and friendly and all doughnuts we ordered hit the mark. My apple fritter was especially epic and big enough to share. Lived up to expectations. Now time to go walk off the calories. (4.25 stars).

While visiting Portland, Oregon, we were craving donuts. We came here late one day and they didn't disappoint. The donuts were delicious! There was a short line, but the service was fast and attentive. Very calm ambience we even took pictures on the voodoo elephant.

Stoped through the city of Portland, and had to pick up these World Famous donuts! Convenient drop off and pick up area for Uber/Lyft passengers. Fortunately, I got there early on a Sunday morning, but I could tell that they get really busy. Inside and outside, looping lines. I would estimate 30 minutes to an hour on a bad day. I highly recommend their classic Voodoo donut( chocolate donut, filled with raspberry filling), and a pretzel stake through the heart! Love their dirty donut: chocolate glazed donut with Oreo cookie crumbs.

I've passed by Voodoo in Los Angeles multiple times but never gave it a try because I don't have the biggest sweet tooth. Imho, the donuts look too sweet for me. My teeth ache just looking at them. Since moving to Portland, I was surprised to learn that it's a big deal here. Years later, I finally tried Voodoo but ... I chose a basic donut -- cinnamon sugar. It's a flavor that I personally like generally, but I feel it's basic compared to Voodoo's popular picks. I found myself more amused by the interior and aesthetic than the donut itself. I can see why so many people stop by Voodoo. It's pink and cute! The paper bag is super cute and even the parking lines are pink. My friend was excited about her pink box. Back to the donut. Honestly, the taste is not terrible but it's also just not that special. The one I picked tastes like a regular cake donut with a lot of sugar. For $1.50, I'm not mad. If you're curious, you should go. But, don't expect a world class donut. Go for the experience. To each their own.

It's all about the donuts. If you like donuts, this is the place to go. Sometimes there can be lines waiting out the door to get in. We got lucky and walked right in.

My first time to this location and enjoyed the pink building, pink bike racks and Gumby shrub in the large parking lot. This location is very different from the downtown shop which has a security guard and only street parking. Counter also has a section to pick up your mobile orders. Donuts, as always are delicious and flavorful. Try out the seasonal donuts.

Had to visit and the doughnuts are nothing special aside from their unique shapes, names and designs. The taste is typical of most doughnut shops but the originality of the names are off-the-chain! Glad to say I have been there because the length of the line is an attest to their notoriety! A must visit when in Portland.
